18 Oct Lung Health Volunteer Chairs National American Lung Association Board

On Oct. 12, renowned Delaware pulmonologist and healthy air advocate Albert A. Rizzo, M.D., was recognized for his recent appointment as the national volunteer chair of the American Lung Association national board of directors. “He is now my boss,” said national CEO Chuck Connor who came up for the event from Washington DC
Dr. Rizzo will serve a one-year term in this position and will work closely with the American Lung to advance the organization’s mission of saving lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.
In addition, Wednesday night’s event marked the launch of the 2011 Mid-Atlantic Christmas Seals campaign. This year’s Christmas Seal features a smiling snowman, chilling with a couple of his feathered friends. See it here, along with galleries of Christmas Seals going back more than 100 years.
