HOCKESSIN PR & MARKETING FIRM GILLESPIEHALL WINS TWO 2010 PLATINUM MARCOM AWARDS

DALLAS, TX– MarCom Awards today announced winners for the 2010 international awards competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. There were close on 5,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries in the 2010 competition.
Hockessin based PR and Social Marketing firm GillespieHall (GH) received three MarCom awards – two of them Platinum; the first Platinum award was for a campaign targeting young adults urging them to be cognoscente of the advantages of not drinking alcohol , and conversely, the consequences of drinking when pregnant or planning to be. The campaign was designed for Wilmington, Delaware based Brandywine Counseling and Community Services, Inc. The second Platinum award was for the gala creatives designed for the American Lung Association in New Jersey.

MarCom entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. The competition has grown to the largest of its kind in the world. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. The competition is so well respected in the industry that national public relations organizations, local ad clubs, and local business communicator chapters compete.
